Who I am.
At 50+, I received my AuDHD diagnosis - a moment that changed everything. Suddenly, decades of feeling "different" made sense. That profound grounding sensation of finally understanding myself sparked a new mission: helping others navigate their own neurodivergent journey.
With over 20 years as a social practitioner and bicultural specialist, I've always helped people bridge different worlds. Now, I focus that expertise on supporting neurodivergent people as they navigate between neuronormative expectations and authentic living.
I understand how profoundly a late diagnosis affects every aspect of your life - the grief, the relief, the complete reframing of your entire story. Add menopause to the mix, and you've got beautiful chaos: hormones wreaking havoc on an already complex neurodivergent brain.
I understand the relief of late diagnosis, the challenge of unmasking, and the courage it takes to live authentically. As the founder of The Neurodivergent Practice, I combine professional expertise with lived experience to create truly neuro-affirming support.
My upcoming book "An AuDinary Life" chronicles the transformation from "normal me" to authentic self - because our stories matter, and representation is everything.
I am a Mum, Nannie, Wife and I love crafting, chickens, cats, bush-walks, Auckland FC, neuro-affirming practice, stimming and loads more, every day I learn something new about my neuro-awesomeness.
I've found my people, and I'm here to help you find yours.
